While this role is less physically demanding than some, the ability to assist with lifting items up to 30 lbs may occasionally be required. You will utilize advanced inventory management systems and contribute to process improvements. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Monitor stock levels and report on potential shortages or overages.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to identify and correct errors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE usage.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to guidelines.
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
Compensation:
This role offers a competitive salary of $21.00 per hour, reflecting your specialized skills and responsibilities in inventory management within our logistics operations.
