This role requires physical capability, including the ability to perform tasks that involve lifting items up to 50 lbs. You will also supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and adherence to quality standards. Experience in a supervisory or coordinating role within a warehouse environment is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
- Ensure efficient space utilization and maintain a clean warehouse.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and PPE usage.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on operational best practices.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to meet deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety standards and proper use of PPE.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation:
This role offers a competitive salary of $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, along with paid time off.
