We are actively recruiting for a Picker/Packer to join our thriving logistics center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is critical for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves and meticulously preparing them for shipment. This involves using scanning equipment, ensuring correct quantities, and applying appropriate packaging to protect goods during transit. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing company in the supply chain industry.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists using RF scanners.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to ensure product safety during shipping.
- Verify order accuracy, checking item numbers, quantities, and product condition.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment for moving products.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all Safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Contribute to team efforts and collaborate effectively to meet daily goals in logistics.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or potential Safety hazards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
