We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying quantities and checking for damage.
- Stock shelves and maintain an organized warehouse environment.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) as needed, after proper training.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with reconciliation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Ensure all workspace areas are clean and free of debris.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- Strong work ethic and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a warehouse environment which may involve exposure to varying temperatures. You will be expected to wear appropriate PPE at all times. This role involves significant physical activity including frequent lifting.
