We are looking for energetic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our bustling warehouse team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment for our valued customers. Your primary duties will involve picking items from warehouse shelves using order lists or RF scanners and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position is fundamental to our logistics chain, and your efficiency directly impacts customer satisfaction. We are dedicated to fostering a secure workplace, and all team members must consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, utilizing various packing materials.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
- Label packages with shipping addresses and tracking information.
- Assist with restocking inventory and maintaining an organized picking area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the use of required PPE.
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and some lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is desirable.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capacity for some lifting of packages.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory flow.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
