We are looking for motivated Warehouse Associates to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri! This role is essential to the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. We value efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to safety. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that our inventory is managed effectively and that orders are processed promptly. We provide comprehensive training and require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
- Prepare shipments for outbound delivery.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
