Our Columbus, Ohio logistics center is seeking motivated Warehouse Associates to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start or further a career in warehouse operations. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions are essential. We are committed to a safe work environment and require the use of appropriate PPE. The role involves regular lifting and requires physical stamina. You will be a vital part of our supply chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Use provided PPE diligently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE.
