In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement, staging, and organization of materials within our distribution center. Your duties will encompass receiving and unloading incoming goods, picking and preparing items for shipment, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring your work area remains clean and safe. Safety is our top priority; adherence to all company safety standards and the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory for all employees. This position requires the capacity for frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Stage inventory accurately for shipping, production, or storage.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other basic material handling equipment.
- Verify product counts and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory control procedures and cycle counts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse logistics.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
