Our growing facility in Huntsville, Alabama, is looking for a reliable and efficient Picker/Packer to join our team. You will play a vital role in our **logistics** process by accurately selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment to our customers. This position requires keen attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. You will be expected to perform **lifting** of packages throughout your shift and ensure all items are packed securely and correctly. Maintaining a clean and **safety**-first work environment is crucial, and you must adhere to all established protocols, including the mandatory use of **PPE**. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders, utilizing RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to ensure product protection during shipping.
- Conduct quality checks to verify order accuracy and product condition.
- Label packages correctly for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, adhering to **safety** standards.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
- Perform routine **lifting** and moving of various sized packages.
- Wear and utilize all required **PPE** throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Support the overall efficiency of our **logistics** operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to perform **lifting** of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to following **safety** guidelines and using **PPE**.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding of basic warehouse **logistics** is helpful.
