We are looking for a reliable Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our logistics facility, involving the movement and organization of materials throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, and products, as well as operating material handling equipment. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that materials are available where and when needed. A strong focus on Safety and efficiency is required. We provide a supportive work environment and opportunities for growth in the logistics industry. Adherence to all Safety guidelines and the correct use of PPE is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Store materials in designated areas, maintaining organization and accessibility.
- Pick and deliver materials to production, shipping, or other departments.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with stock checks.
- Ensure proper handling of all materials to prevent damage.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow all Safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform manual tasks including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with material handling equipment operation.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory procedures.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
