We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team at a busy facility in San Francisco, California. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to Safety standards in our logistics processes. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management principles. You will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the smooth movement of goods. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to creating a safe work environment are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff in daily operations.
- Ensure efficient workflow for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, implementing control measures.
- Train and mentor warehouse team members.
- Enforce all Safety policies and procedures, promoting a Safety-first culture.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper usage.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Oversee tasks involving Lifting and material handling, ensuring safe practices.
- Ensure correct use of PPE by all team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive performance.
- Solid understanding of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Experience with inventory control and process optimization.
