Join our team as a Warehouse Worker in Omaha, Nebraska! This is a vital role supporting the day-to-day operations of our distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and loading/unloading of goods. A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety are essential for this position. As a Warehouse Worker, you'll contribute directly to the efficiency of our logistics network. You'll be responsible for handling materials of varying sizes and weights, operating equipment like pallet jacks, and ensuring that all inventory is managed accurately and securely. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to follow established safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work in a team, and a proactive approach to completing tasks. Training on specific procedures and equipment will be provided, but prior experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous. You will be handling a diverse range of products, so attention to detail is key to ensuring accuracy in all your duties. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Support team members in achieving daily operational goals.
- Contribute to the smooth flow of goods within the logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong understanding of and adherence to safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic communication skills.
