Safety is a top priority; all team members must follow strict safety guidelines, maintain a clean workspace, and utilize the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. This role involves significant physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Previous experience as a picker or packer is beneficial, but we welcome candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory according to order lists.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking and packing station.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily shipping goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and basic logistics is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
