Become a Picker/Packer in our bustling Indianapolis, Indiana warehouse! We need energetic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately pick customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is a critical component of our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Operate scanning equipment and warehouse systems.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and company policies.
- Perform tasks requiring physical agility and frequent Lifting.
- Ensure correct usage of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse/fulfillment role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting, typically up to 30-50 lbs.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to following Safety procedures and wearing PPE.
