Our Provo, Utah facility is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This key role involves overseeing inventory, coordinating shipments, managing staff, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, motivated individual with a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory control processes, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Supervise and motivate warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Ensure all operations comply with Safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse facility.
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Train and develop warehouse team members.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate the efficient movement of goods, involving significant Lifting.
- Support the broader logistics functions of the company.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to Safety standards and best practices.
- Must be capable of performing physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of and adherence to PPE requirements.
