We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely fulfillment of orders. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that all warehouse activities adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
- Schedule and manage warehouse staff to ensure adequate coverage and optimal productivity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all warehouse personnel.
- Monitor and manage warehouse safety procedures, including regular safety audits.
- Assist with receiving and shipping as needed.
- Support the logistics department in achieving operational goals.
- Perform tasks involving significant Lifting and physical demands.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar logistics role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with material handling equipment and knowledge of safety procedures.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving significant Lifting, often up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
