Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Transport goods from receiving to storage areas, and from storage to shipping docks.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated areas, following warehouse layout and safety standards.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, including mandatory PPE usage and safe Lifting practices.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient logistics environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Proficiency in safely handling and transporting various types of materials.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.
