Responsibilities:
- Retrieve specified items from warehouse locations using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product descriptions to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders in the designated area for consolidation and shipping.
- Perform basic quality checks on products before staging.
- Maintain tidiness and organization of assigned picking zones.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, including those regarding the use of PPE and safe Lifting practices.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisory staff promptly.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient workflow within the logistics operation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting, up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding and fast-paced setting.
- Understanding of basic inventory and logistics concepts.
