Job Summary:
Our dynamic Austin, Texas distribution center is looking for a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our team. This multifaceted role is crucial for the efficient operation of our logistics hub. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will engage in various tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will operate material handling equipment, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. We are seeking individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a productive and safe work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
  • Stock received merchandise accurately and efficiently.
  • Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Process shipments and prepare them for delivery.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics operations.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 55 lbs.
  • Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
