We are seeking a diligent and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving and preparing products for shipment. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Your primary duties will involve navigating the warehouse, locating items using a pick list or scanner, and carefully transporting them to the packing station. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and speed are highly valued. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and a commitment to safety. You will be provided with all necessary training and equipment, including appropriate PPE, to perform your duties safely and effectively. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Verify product information against orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
