Seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk for our busy distribution center in Dallas, Texas! Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Package items securely and professionally for shipping, selecting appropriate materials.
- Generate shipping labels, manifests, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers for pickup schedules and tracking.
- Maintain accurate shipping logs and update inventory management systems.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing products before packaging.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners safely.
- Strictly follow all Safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other shipping and receiving tasks as needed, including occasional lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related logistics field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good physical condition, able to stand for long periods and perform moderate lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
