This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting physical counts of inventory, verifying records, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that our inventory management system is up-to-date. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies by investigating variances.
- Enter inventory data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Verify the accuracy of received and shipped goods against records.
- Maintain organized inventory storage areas.
- Identify and report damaged or expired stock.
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all company Safety guidelines and proper use of PPE.
- Support the logistics team by providing accurate inventory information.
- Process inventory adjustments as authorized.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency in data entry and experience with inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including some Lifting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety best practices.
