Seeking a meticulous and fast-paced Picker/Packer for our warehouse operations in Durham, North Carolina. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by picking the correct items from inventory and packing them securely for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Use RF scanning devices to track inventory movements and confirm order accuracy.
- Inspect products for any defects or damages before packing.
- Pack items carefully and efficiently into appropriate shipping materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Verify order details against packed items to prevent shipping errors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety guidelines.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times during operational hours.
- Assist with receiving, put-away, and stocking tasks as directed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals within established timeframes.
- Follow all established logistics and shipping protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment setting is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists, order forms, and product labels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina required to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of fundamental logistics principles.
