Seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our San Jose, California facility! This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is vital for seamless Logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting audits, and implementing procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses. We are looking for a highly organized, analytical individual with a strong commitment to Safety and efficiency. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in a key position within our Logistics department. Daily tasks include cycle counting, reconciling inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and recommending improvements to inventory management systems. You will work with various teams to ensure smooth product flow and efficient order fulfillment. Continuous training and development are part of our commitment to our employees. Strict adherence to all company Safety guidelines and the mandatory use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. While not the primary focus, some tasks may involve moderate Lifting. Help us maintain precision in our Logistics chain!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Collaborate with warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure accuracy.
- Generate reports on inventory accuracy and status.
- Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilize required PPE as instructed.
