We are looking for a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our team in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in the warehouse. You will handle the movement of goods within our distribution center, ensuring that products are stored safely and efficiently. Precision and care are essential to prevent damage to products and racking. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift operator certification and proven experience operating reach trucks in a warehouse environment. We prioritize a safe work atmosphere and expect all operators to strictly follow safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE. This role requires constant attention, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work safely around other personnel and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move and stack palletized goods.
- Load and unload materials from trailers.
- Safely transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform routine checks on the reach truck to ensure safe operation.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage.
- Follow all logistics and warehouse operational procedures.
