As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment. You will work with a variety of products and utilize warehouse systems to track inventory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate manual equipment such as hand trucks and dollies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Meet or exceed established productivity standards.
- Perform duties that involve regular lifting and bending.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker or packer is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists and shipping labels.
- Capability to perform frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 35 lbs consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts if needed.
