We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to manage and streamline operations at our facility in Washington, D.C. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the overall efficiency of our Logistics department. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining detailed records. You will oversee inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement improvements to warehouse processes. A strong commitment to Safety is essential, and you will ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE . While not a primary function, the ability to assist with tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) may be required. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all warehouse inventory.
- Coordinate the scheduling and tracking of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Liaise with freight carriers and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
- Implement and manage inventory control procedures, including cycle counting.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Supervise the correct use of PPE by all warehouse personnel.
- Support the broader Logistics and supply chain functions.
- Assist with tasks involving occasional Lifting and material movement.
