Join our team as a Material Handler in Baltimore, Maryland, where you will be instrumental in the efficient operation of our distribution center. This role requires a physically capable individual to manage the movement of goods within the warehouse. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and other machinery to unload trucks, move inventory, and prepare shipments. You will be responsible for accurately receiving goods, verifying their contents, and stocking them in their designated locations. Picking and staging orders for outbound delivery is also a key part of this position. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety , and all employees are required to use designated PPE and follow established protocols. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 60 lbs. Experience with warehouse equipment and a solid understanding of Logistics are advantageous. We are looking for reliable and safety-conscious individuals to join our dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Receive and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Stock materials in an organized and accessible manner.
- Pick and stage items for outgoing orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE .
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Support the smooth functioning of overall Logistics operations.
- Regularly perform tasks requiring substantial Lifting .
