Job Summary:
Our Boise, Idaho facility seeks a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. As a crucial part of our **logistics** team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust inventory control procedures. This includes conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, managing stock locations, and contributing to process improvements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with inventory management software. You will work collaboratively with warehouse operations and **logistics** personnel to optimize stock flow and minimize errors. A strong commitment to **safety** and the correct usage of **PPE** is essential, as you will be working within a warehouse environment and may be involved in **Lifting** and moving inventory. Your accuracy and diligence are vital to our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily cycle counts and participate in periodic physical inventories.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS and ERP systems.
  • Optimize inventory layout and **storage** locations for efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and alert management to potential shortages or excesses.
  • Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure smooth inventory transitions.
  • Support **logistics** planning with accurate inventory data.
  • Ensure compliance with all **safety** regulations and proper use of **PPE**.
  • Perform tasks involving **Lifting** and moving of inventory as required.
  • Assist in training new team members on inventory procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inventory control or a similar **logistics** role.
  • Proficiency in using WMS, ERP, or similar inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform moderate **Lifting** and manual tasks.
  • Knowledge of **warehouse safety** standards and **PPE**.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
