Are you an energetic individual looking for a role in a dynamic warehouse setting? Our Boston facility is seeking an Order Picker to join our dedicated logistics team. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items to fulfill customer orders, playing a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Select correct items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications, utilizing RF scanners or pick lists.
- Conduct quality checks on selected items to ensure they meet standards before packing.
- Package orders carefully and correctly, preparing them for shipment.
- Use equipment such as pallet jacks to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet order fulfillment quotas and maintain workflow.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damage concerns to management.
- Contribute to efficient Logistics operations by following established procedures.
- This position involves considerable physical activity including standing, walking, and regular Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or similar role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product identifiers accurately.
- Experience with warehouse management systems or RF scanners is a plus.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina for extended periods of standing, walking, and Lifting.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
