Job Summary:
Are you a driven and reliable individual looking for a dynamic role in the logistics industry? We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our growing team in Kansas City, Missouri. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and organization of goods within our state-of-the-art warehouse facility. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all operations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. You will be interacting with various team members and potentially operating equipment, making clear communication and teamwork essential. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory for damage and discrepancies.
  • Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately based on shipping requirements.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as needed and certified.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and logistics.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety guidelines.
