We have an immediate opening for a Receiving Clerk at our Dallas, Texas warehouse. This position is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting our overall logistics operations. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving incoming shipments, verifying product counts and quality against order documentation, and accurately entering this data into our warehouse management system. A sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to Safety are critical for success in this role. You will work closely with delivery personnel and internal teams to ensure efficient and accurate processing of all inbound goods. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow within the logistics field.
Responsibilities:
- Accepting and unloading deliveries from various carriers.
- Cross-referencing shipments with purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspecting merchandise for damage or defects upon receipt.
- Accurately inputting receiving information into the inventory system.
- Labeling and staging incoming products for put-away.
- Maintaining a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to Safety standards.
- Wearing and utilizing appropriate PPE throughout the shift.
- Assisting with inventory control measures as needed.
- Performing occasional Lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Prior experience in a warehouse receiving role is preferred.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and basic computer operations.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Commitment to workplace Safety protocols.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
