We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in Dallas, Texas. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanning devices, carefully packing items for shipment, ensuring product integrity, and preparing orders for dispatch. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring our customers receive their products in excellent condition and on time. You will work in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to meet performance targets. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. We provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in this vital position.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Utilize necessary PPE at all times.
- Be prepared for regular Lifting requirements throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
