Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify all shipping documentation, including bills of lading and packing slips.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup schedules and tracking.
- Inspect outgoing packages to ensure accuracy and proper labeling.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update the logistics system.
- Communicate shipment status updates to relevant parties.
- Operate shipping-related equipment such as scales and label printers.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and the use of required PPE.
- Identify opportunities for improving shipping processes and logistics efficiency.
- Engage in tasks that may require lifting items up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics coordination, or administrative support.
- Proficiency with computers, including MS Office and shipping software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with transportation and logistics best practices.
