You will be responsible for selecting items from inventory according to order slips, ensuring accuracy, and then carefully packing them for shipment. Success in this role requires a sharp eye for detail, speed, and precision. We are deeply committed to your Safety, providing all necessary PPE and implementing comprehensive Safety training. This job involves substantial physical activity, including regular Lifting and movement of products. Strict adherence to all Safety protocols is a must. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from designated warehouse locations based on pick lists or scanners.
- Verify item accuracy and quantities before packing.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Safety standards.
- Operate scanning equipment effectively for inventory tracking.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear all required PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Meet established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Observe all Lifting regulations and techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Willingness to comply with PPE requirements.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
