This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. A strong understanding of warehouse logistics and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment are crucial. Safety is paramount in our facility; therefore, strict adherence to all safety procedures and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting items that can weigh up to 75 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick orders accurately based on customer requirements.
- Pack orders securely for safe transit.
- Prepare shipments for outbound logistics.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory management and cycle counting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to following safety regulations and wearing PPE.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required.
