We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will involve picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets and packing them securely for shipment. This is a fast-paced environment where accuracy and speed are essential. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain an organized and productive workspace. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. We emphasize safety in all our operations and require all employees to adhere to our strict safety protocols. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs may be required. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order lists.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or discrepancies.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Ensure timely processing of orders to meet fulfillment deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
