We are searching for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our advanced facility in Tampa, Florida. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics hub. Your duties will include performing routine inspections, diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues, and ensuring all machinery complies with safety regulations. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and the importance of minimizing downtime is essential. You will work closely with the operations team to address any equipment-related challenges promptly. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols and utilize provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires a combination of technical expertise and physical capability, including the ability to perform moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety standards and utilize PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance or a related field.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of machinery.
- Understanding of Safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Physical ability to perform required tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
