In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing orders for shipment. Your primary duties will involve navigating the warehouse using RF scanners, locating products, and ensuring correct item and quantity selection. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We value safety above all else and expect all team members to adhere to strict safety protocols. You will be provided with all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your well-being. This role involves significant walking and standing, and may require moderate to heavy Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners.
- Verify product information and quantities against order sheets.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
