Our Provo, Utah location is seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily warehouse activities. This role is crucial for maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and Safety within our logistics operations. The Warehouse Coordinator will supervise a team, ensure inventory accuracy, manage shipping and receiving, and implement process improvements. This position demands leadership skills, a detail-oriented approach, and a commitment to fostering a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce Safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency in logistics.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates on best practices and Safety protocols.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and warehouse logistics systems.
- Deep understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to handle moderate to heavy Lifting tasks (up to 60 lbs).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of Safety.
