You will be instrumental in the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, ensuring that our inventory is managed effectively and orders are fulfilled with precision. This role involves considerable physical activity, including regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs, and requires stamina to work effectively in a demanding environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying against manifests.
- Store merchandise in appropriate locations within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks and cycle counts.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational objectives.
- Perform frequent lifting and material handling tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of and commitment to workplace safety practices, including PPE.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, and be physically active for the entire shift.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory procedures.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success.
