This position is integral to our *Logistics* chain, ensuring that products are accurately documented, packaged, and dispatched on time. You will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, verifying order details, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. The ability to handle moderate *Lifting* (up to 30 pounds) and stand for extended periods is necessary. A strong focus on *Safety* is paramount, and you must consistently use the required *PPE*. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You will be the point person for ensuring our outgoing *Logistics* are handled with precision and care. The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping software and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping documents, labels, and manifests.
- Verify order accuracy and prepare items for shipment.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for damage and ensure proper packaging.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Adhere to all *Safety* regulations and procedures.
- Wear appropriate *PPE* while on duty.
- Assist with receiving tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related *Logistics* role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common office applications.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate *Lifting* (up to 30 lbs).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to workplace *Safety* and the use of *PPE*.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
