You will manage the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, verifying contents, stocking inventory, preparing outgoing orders, and maintaining meticulous records. A robust commitment to Safety is expected, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina and the ability to handle regular Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and shipments.
- Compare received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Stock received items in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, and staging.
- Accurately record all shipping and receiving transactions.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized dock area and warehouse floor.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and utilize required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Capability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Dedication to workplace Safety.
