We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. You will play a key part in our logistics operations, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently and accurately. Our warehouse environment is fast-paced, and we value teamwork, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming materials and verify contents against shipping documents.
- Stock inventory accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick products for customer orders using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Pack items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Load outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred, training available).
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory adjustments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any safety hazards or operational issues to management promptly.
- Support the overall logistics flow of the warehouse through efficient task completion.
Qualifications:
Must be capable of frequent lifting up to 50 pounds. Previous warehouse experience is an advantage. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Must possess good organizational skills and a high level of accuracy. Capable of standing, walking, and performing physical labor for the duration of the shift. A dedication to safety and adherence to all established protocols is essential.
