Your duties will include unloading merchandise, verifying quantities against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and stocking received goods. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and containers.
- Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect items for damage and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Accurately record received inventory into the WMS.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding shipments.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, receiving, or logistics role preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with inventory documentation and basic WMS functions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and material handling best practices.
