Our fast-paced logistics facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is looking for energetic Order Pickers to join our team. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in accurately retrieving and preparing items for shipment. This role demands efficiency, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail. You'll be responsible for navigating our warehouse using pick lists or scanning devices to locate and gather products, ensuring that orders are fulfilled correctly and on time. Your contribution is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring our customers receive the right products promptly. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders, using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Ensure all picked items are verified for accuracy against order details.
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or shipping area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment to move inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to supervision.
- Follow proper techniques for Lifting and moving items to prevent strain or injury.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations through diligent work.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is advantageous. Must be able to perform consistent Lifting and stand for extended periods. Ability to read and understand pick tickets and product labels. Familiarity with warehouse equipment like pallet jacks is helpful. Commitment to workplace safety is essential. Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial. Must be willing to wear required PPE.
