Join our growing logistics operation in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a Material Handler. This position plays a crucial role in the daily flow of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for moving, organizing, and managing materials to ensure efficiency and accuracy in our warehouse processes. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders from stock.
- Pack and prepare goods for shipment.
- Manage warehouse inventory and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Identify and report any damages or safety concerns.
- Support team members in achieving operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and manual labor.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Effective communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
