Are you a proactive individual with a passion for warehouse operations? Our facility in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a versatile Warehouse Associate to support a wide range of activities. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our warehouse, involving order fulfillment, inventory management, and general warehouse upkeep. You'll be part of a team dedicated to efficient logistics and ensuring our products reach their destinations reliably.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks and storage areas.
- Perform inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming goods.
- Identify and report any damaged or defective products.
- Contribute to team efforts and collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina and regular Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and basic inventory control.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety regulations.
- Knowledge of proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to perform various warehouse duties as assigned.
