Seeking an organized and motivated Order Picker for our warehouse located in Baltimore, Maryland. You will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders, ensuring timely and precise order fulfillment. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. The Order Picker is a crucial part of our Logistics chain, directly contributing to customer satisfaction through accurate order preparation. We are looking for individuals who can work independently, follow instructions carefully, and contribute positively to our team. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves using pick lists and scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect items for any damage or defects before proceeding to packing.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and protocols.
- Proper use of provided PPE is essential.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Communicate any order discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is beneficial.
- Familiarity with handheld scanners and basic warehouse technology.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of Logistics and warehouse Safety practices.
- Team-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills.
