POSITION OVERVIEW :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Design Engineering Intern to support our engineering team in advancing process design and optimization initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience working on real-world engineering documentation, equipment evaluation, and technical validation activities in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Digitize and revise redline documents, including:
Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Mechanical drawings
Research and compare equipment vendor packages and process technologies to support design decisions Assist in validating and verifying process design elements and technical requirements Perform calculation checks and basic modeling to support process design work Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure documentation accuracy and consistency MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
:
3+ years of study in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field by the start of the internship Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with process design principles and engineering documentation Experience with Aspen Plus (Aspen+) is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical documentation tools Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
COMPENSATION
:
The hourly range for this internship is $25.00 - $30.00.
